Our journey began when we contacted the Cairn Terrier Club of America. We were sure we couldn’t access a Cairn puppy in our area. We wanted a Cairn Terrier because we had one prior. It was no time at all we were contacted and referred to Irina Harrington. We are so happy to have been referred to her and appreciate the original referral.

Ridley is a beautiful Cairn Terrier and has been taken care of evidenced in his beautiful coat and his healthy features.

Ridley has notable intelligence. And we aren’t just bragging as doggy parents!  He learned quickly the transfer of routines from Irina’s to our house. We tried to keep everything identical, but it is still a big task for a 12 week puppy to move a state away.

Ridley comes when you call him and he goes to the door already when he needs to go out into the garage to his litter box.

He barks when his water bowl needs to be filled:) Keeping mom in line.

Ridley is cautious, and stays out of things. He knows when he has gone out of the boundary of things he can do because Irina taught him “uh uh uh” which we still use to redirect Ridley, teaching him what he can and can’t get into!

These are all just a few of the remarkable things that we know Irina taught Ridley, spending hours of training.

Ridley already plays catch which at his age is nothing I have seen before and he even brings the toy back to you willingly! We have noted that Irina has spend a lot of time and energy playing with Ridley and of course (the litter). Oh and he was a good boy at the Veterinarian Puppy Check.

Irina was so helpful throughout the whole process. She built a supportive relationship with us and answered every question we asked. She provided resources and assisted us with registration with the AKC.

What is great is Irina will be there for us and Ridley forever!  We hope you take your journey with Irina.
